Yeah, I know. I care more about empowering queers to help them to use our limited resources to find the best clothes for their identity rather than boycotting every store whose politics I don’t agree with. I care about queer visibility and empowerment, and part of that for me means wearing clothes that I feel great about. For others, that might be more political, and I respect that. I do hope to stress in my posts that thrift stores are an option to consider (check out the thrift stores tag!), as well as promoting small businesses like Ratio Clothing and the Butch Clothing Company.
