LGBTQIA+ Voices Unite at Pride GBH Outspoken Saturday with Amanda Shea 🌈

On the first day of Pride, queer activists, poets, and allies gathered at GBH studios in Boston for a special panel and poetry event hosted by the legendary poet Amanda Shea.

The panel featured Adrianna Boulin, President of Boston Pride for the People and Director of Racial Equity, and Cristela Guerra, arts and culture reporter for WBUR.

The conversation offered a thoughtful and introspective examination of the queer BIPOC experience, focusing on how these communities are transforming Pride into an inclusive space that highlights BIPOC, trans individuals, and other marginalized groups who have historically been sidelined.

The panel was followed by performances from poets Sonny Oram (Qwear founder), Sam Bucci, Luka Erausquin, and Gabriella Lipsitch. Each poet explored themes related to identity and pride.
