Rally for Gender-Inclusive Rights at MIT: March 6th, 5 PM – Cambridge, MA

All Are Welcome!

Join Qwear on March 6, 2025, at 5 PM for the Rally for Gender-Inclusive Rights, hosted by MIT Graduate Women in Computer Science and TransMIT. We’ll gather on the steps of the Student Center (84 Massachusetts Avenue, Cambridge MA) at MIT to kick off a powerful new series of events dedicated to building solidarity for our communities of women and gender minorities. Qwear Co-owner Ru will discuss trans rights in our current climate and Founder & Co-owner Sonny Oram will perform an original poem!

This rally is a chance to create a safe, inclusive space for those of us whose rights are threatened. Together, we’ll use our voices to stand against discriminatory attacks on our rights and to connect attendees with groups offering support and resources during tough times. We’ll also bring together local advocacy and mutual aid organizations, giving those who want to volunteer the chance to get involved and make a difference.

You’ll hear from seasoned activists who have dedicated their lives to fighting for gender justice, as well as community members who are directly affected by gender-based discrimination and persecution. Their stories will inspire action and deepen our collective understanding of the ongoing struggle for gender equity.

All you need to bring is yourself—water and basic supplies will be available. If you’re inspired, feel free to bring signs or non-violent messages that show why you’re here to stand and fight, today and always. Together, in solidarity.
