Enter the Mx Apparel Jacket Raffle To Support The Black Trans Travel Fund

Mx Apparel, a line of edgy, bold apparel that centers gender nonconformity, is raffling off a one-of-a-kind jacket for The Black Trans Travel Fund. The Black Trans Travel Fund is a mutual-aid based organization committed to uplifting the narratives and supporting the livelihoods of Black trans women.

The neon lime and bright red jacket fits sizes S–L and is made from a faux leather, lined in a bright red plain weave printed with the word “danger,” and dashed lines in white. The oversize lapels are held open with D-rings and red webbing. On the back, there is a white mesh panel for another special touch. There is also a large outside pocket.

Every $10 donation to the Black Trans Travel Fund will count as one raffle ticket. To enter, send proof of your donation to mxappareldesign@gmail.com. Donate here!

Launched in June of 2019, The Black Trans Travel Fund was developed for the purpose of providing Black transgender women with the financial resources needed to be able to self-determine and access safer alternatives to travel, where women feel less likely to experience verbal harassment or physical harm. They have already redistributed over $60,000 to Black trans women in need!

BTTF was created out of direct response to the relentless and unacceptable violence Black transgender women across the country have been  continuously experiencing.

They are currently providing our service to Black trans women in New York state as well as and New Jersey state, and will be working to expand our efforts to other states soon!
